I was Grade 5 when this tragic event happened and I vaguely remember this as my attention was diverted elsewhere as a child.
The first opener for me was when I watched the film "UNITED 93". Curiosity and mixed emotions (anger, sympathy, sadness) when I watched the film led me to the untold story of 2001, when I am not interested yet in current events and news.
ANGER. This is the first thing that I felt upon seeing pictures of 911 attack. It is a hideous act towards nation and humanity. Terrorism led us nowhere but hatred [to each other], pain [for the victims], and endless wars. The al-Qaeda are plain stupid and evils for making the world a more dangerous place due to their existence. Regardless of their intentions and sentiments, their actions put the world in great ordeal of pain and agony. It is morally wrong in the law of human and God, nor justified anything that the terrorists are fighting for.
Many people died, many lives have been devastated and emotions flooded America and each country of the seven continents around the EARTH.
Today [or moments later], the whole world will be commemorating the 11th anniversary since the cataclysmic event in USA soils that changed how the whole world moves in airborne, military preparedness, and in every aspect of human, political, social lives etc.
Once more, I uttermost prayers for war-free, better, sustainable, safe, and peaceful world. May people who have been terrorized and continuously suffering from the pain and handful bad emotions brought by the 9/11 attacks vanish and forever heal.
